New Favourite Contour Palette 

Up until recently when people asked me what my favourite contour palette was I would of said Blank Canvas was  must have, and I still think it is a very good palette and you get your moneys worth, But after discovering that the NYX highlight and contour pro palette arrived in Ireland and after seeing everyone rave about it online, I picked it up to see if their was much comparison and I was blown away by it. Its now by far my favourite! The pigmentation from these powders blew me away. Yes they do seem to have a bit of fallout when you put your brush in them but that honestly does not bother me as the pigmentation pays off and a little goes a long way. The colours in this palette are perfect for contouring and suit a lot of skin types. The highlighter "ice queen" in this palette is to die for I have been using it on a daily basis. The palette retails for around €26.00 as far as I know and can be found in most pharmacy's. Definitely go get your hands on this palette its a must buy in my opinion I'm in love!

I'm a professional makeup artist from Cork, Ireland. Specialising in special fx and with a passion for fashion i love to share my interests, tips and tricks with people. I completed my training in Tiger Training Academy, Cork and soon to be receiving my Vtct level 2 diploma Media Hair and Makeup Artistry in the new year. Doing this course was the best thing I have ever done and has given me confidence I never knew I could get. I love nothing more than getting ready and heading off to the city for some shopping, typical girl! Beauty is my number one but i also love my comfort which involves fluffy socks, onesies and being completely bare faced. Trying new makeup products and being creative to transform our faces is an art that excites me like no other and i enjoy sharing everything i learn with other beauty lovers like myself, its what keeps me sane!

Dave Darko Workshop

My Special Fx Training 

Special effects has become a real passion of mine, or sometimes I could say more of an obsession! I never would of thought I would of become to love this different side of makeup artisty but I now I cannot get enough of it and it's something I want to go alot further in and really up my skills. I recently took part in the amazing Dave Darko's workshop (he was one of those artists I stalked because of his work) based in Tiger Training Academy. He flew all the way from Essex, England with his girlfriend to teach a 3 day workshop and of course there was no stopping me from participating and learning from one of the best. I was in no way disappointed, his teaching skills were amazing and it was one of the best things I have taken part in. Learning from the basics up to making a full monster on the final day. I made great friends and to no surprise I hungered for more after I created my monster on the final day. Dave Darko will be a permanent resident at Tiger Academy which is amzing. Heres some of my work from that workshop.

So apparently Kylie Jenners lip colours in "candy, dolce and true brown" are very similar to Colourpop's liquid lipsticks in the shades "clueless, beeper and limbo" according to Nikkie from Nikkietutorials when she took to twitter to say so, the Colourpop ultra matte range are a fraction of the price at $6 (around €5.60) so girls can still get that kylie jenner lip for a lot cheaper!
